Ross, Riker, Rocky, and Ratliff participated in the yearly Echoes Of Hope Charity hockey game again. They played against the Henrie family. The game benefitted the charity, which assists the youth in independence, empowerment, and a post secondary education, which means R5 was playing for fun and for a good cause as well. The game took place in the Toyota sports center, in El Segundo, California on Sunday, March 20. The Lynches have played hockey since they were little kids, so they're pretty much pros at hockey now. Ryland and Rydel posted videos on Snapchat of the hockey game, and the game seemed pretty fun. On Twitter, I saw some fans post pictures of them with R5 and Ryland. I don't know if they had to win a raffle, or pay for it, but they are pretty lucky for meeting R5 and see them play hockey, LIVE! That seems like a lot of fun. I've wanted to play hockey since I liked R5 because it seems like an interesting sport and R5 plays it as well. Down below, are some pictures from the hockey game.

R5+Ross Previous Awards
R5 has gotten a total of..... 3 awards. I'm honestly disappointed because they deserve way more awards than 3. They've been nominated for a total of 16 awards, but yet they've only won 3 out of 16. If you don't particularly like them, okay I get it, you're probably thinking that they're a bad band, but they really aren't, You really have to listen to their music, especially their most recent album, Sometime Last Night. They really need to at least earn awards for big awards shows, like it can't always be One Direction or Fifth Harmony. At LEAST give R5 a chance! Anyways, they won awards from the Next Big Thing Award Show, and Radio Disney music awards. SERIOUSLY?! Those award shows are for kids, R5 IS NOT A KIDS BAND. They deserve more. Well, anyways the award they won for the NBT award show is the "Next Big Thing" award. I honestly wish they were the next big thing.... They won that award in 2013. The next award they won is for "Best Band," in the Radio Disney Music awards in 2014. They also won the "Show Stopper" award from that award show. I wish they really earned more. They deserve it. Right now, they are nominated for "Best Music Group" for the Radio Disney Award Show 2016. On the other side, Ross has had a total of 11 nominations but he won more of them. He won a total of 7 awards out of 11. That's actually pretty good, I'm not complaining much about this, but I do wish he earned more awards from bigger shows. Anyways, he won awards from the Kids Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and the Radio Disney Awards. He won the "Favorite TV Actor" award 4 times in a row, in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. That's a big accomplishment. I'm very proud of him for this. He won that award from the Kids Choice Awards show. In 2013, he received an award from the Radio Disney Music Awards, which was for "Best Music Video." He received that for the "Heard It On The Radio" video. I'm very proud of R5 and Ross for these awards, and I hope they earn more in the future.

Happy Birthday Ellington!
This blog post is going to be a letter to Ellington, since TODAY is his 23rd birthday.
Dear Ellington,
YOU'RE 23! Happy Birthday! I really do hope you have many more to come. I'm so proud of all your accomplishments and contributions to R5. You're a legend, a one of a kind drummer. You are very amazing at what you do. You're hilarious, you're like the "goofy" one in R5. That's one of the reasons that makes me like you more! I've always found you "elldorable" since the day that I found out about R5. You and the rest of the band make me very happy, and that will NEVER change. I can't explain how much I love you guys because it would take me forever to finish. This is the shortest paragraph I can write about how much I love you and R5. I hope you have many more years of life, and drum playing in R5 ;). Once again, happy birthday!
